Nyx

Lore/Backstory - first draft (10/26/22)

Nyx originally had planned to become a Seeker of the Gaoler Order. Wanting to travel, but also wishing for conflict and to drag Shades back to be imprisoned. She had taken the steps, and she had managed to station herself well enough to become what she dreamed she would from a youngling. She does not show much in emotion and is quite quiet. She can be gentle, but only towards those she views as friends.

While out, seeking for dangers and Shades, she had come across Kiko. She had almost written off seeing him entirely. Kiko, however, had grown fascinated with her mane and looks, and began to follow her in attempts to talk and get to know her. Nyx stayed quiet, trying to listen for anything out of the ordinary as he blabbered on. He eventually left her be, but that was not the last time she saw him.

It was strange to have met him again, the quiet Nyx trying to ignore the goofy Kiko as he rolled around and seemingly tried to impress her with his antler-like horns, or the flowers that he would lay before her. All black, and some white roses, nearly coloured just lie her. Truthfully, she didn't know how, but his persistence certainly won her over in the end as she slowly began to talk to him and slowly open up to him. But she still had a job in her society to do, and so they had decided on how to work this out.

Nyx kept to a specific path, every few days leaving for the Fortress of Ends, and then staying with Kiko and the rest of the dragons of the den. She is quite the protector from anything that may be amiss in the area, and keeps the Shades and other alien creatures at bay. When with Kiko, she allows him to show her the world around, and just how nice flowers can be... She loves the ones that Kiko has in his hair and fur the most out of any.
