Biography
Cecil's Guard
Of course he was hesitant about joining a Plague clan—who wouldn't be? He was no native of this land, and the stories he had heard about it were...less than flattering, to put it kindly. But at the time, he had no other choice; it was either this, or wander the Wyrmwound alone until he inevitably ran across something too nasty or vicious for him to handle.
But after they all welcomed him into the clan, he wondered if his misgivings were just a bit misplaced. Still...they were a strange bunch, with members that looked and acted more likely to kill him than coexist with him, and the ever-present threat of the ubiquitous infection that threatened to corrupt them all was a danger he hadn't bargained for, before...
He's still here, though. He wouldn't dare leave Cecil.
It means enduring plenty of jokes and sideways jabs because of it, of course—the others can't keep their comments to themselves like they very well should—but he refuses to leave. He can't leave, as far as he's concerned, while Cecil is still around and still proudly leading the clan, above and beyond their mortal understanding. He deserves to be revered, and Sunfall is glad to do so, even protecting him with tooth and claw and magic most deadly when he has to.
And maybe someday, he'll be able to stop losing his nerve to talk to the Tundra and actually be noticed by him instead.
Then he can truly be happy.
