They who watch over Purgatory, not as a judge, but as a warden.
An Employer. One of the few intrinsically connected to the leylines- not by natural creation, but rather by decision. Chose to act as metaphorical gatekeeper, believing (correctly) that the other Employers would balance each other out on deciding how best to run Purgatory itself.
Attempts to prevent any deviation in the cycle of magic through the leylines, though certain individuals' tenacity, determination, and meddling have caused some breaches.
Has taken on a much more active role in governing Purgatory since both the departure of the Producer, and the death of the Councillor at the hands of a rogue retainer. With this new power, they have done... nothing, choosing instead to act only if there occurs a dire situation.
