ALLISON
THE SEEKER
durable - naive - persistent

PERSONALITY
No one in Little Sun is truly immortal, but Allison is closer than most.

As a main character of the manuscript, she is able to persist throughout many dangerous situations. Her drive to find the secrets underneath town and her innocence counterbalance the cynicism and reluctance other characters have.

The most jaded among the other residents assume that when she finally snaps, it will be catastrophic.

They are right.

HISTORY
Allison had a mother, once. An adopted one.

She was a surly old dragon, a lifelong farmer on a dead plot of land, but they made do. Even the worst harvests could be supplemented with meat and insects if necessary, and when there was extra, it could be sold for a profit to the Silver City. She taught Allison to hunt, to fish, and to grow.

One day, she left the farm with a cartful of goods, headed across the desert towards that distant gleaming settlement.

Allison hasn't seen her since.

She believes she got caught halfway, at the town of Little Sun. After all, people go missing there all the time. She moved into the local hotel and has been searching ever since.
