Evergreen and Pea were famous for their dances. The siblings were traveling performers since they left their nest, weaving intricate stories through the movement of their bodies and the flashing of their trinkets. They never expected that a visit to the Thorndark Alter would cause Pea to become touched by the Void. In desperate search of treatment, Evergreen followed the whispers on the grapevine to Peach’s Retreat and begged for her aid. Thank the Eleven that the coatl, in her boundless kindness, complied.

Unlike the other permanent residents, Evergreen remains solely to assist Peach in the day-to-day and help her brother recover from his affliction. She tries to be sociable with the other residents even so; Snow has been charming and easy to bond with, though she struggles with Serephen’s fits of confusion and nonsense.

She does hope, one day, her brother will overcome the affliction, and they can return to traveling Sornieth, sharing their art with the world. For now, they dance only for the Retreat’s residents, and that’s enough.
