The icewarden's territory is no place for a fae. Sornieth is too big to stick around somewhere you'll have frostbite on your toes all the time.
She left home as soon as she could fly against the icy gusts, with a pack of belongings on her back and her head full of grand plans. To the disappointment of her parents, her departure came before her official naming ceremony, and she still has yet to take a name.
She fell in love for a time, but found herself too capricious, too full of life to sit in one spot and raise a family, and besides, her lover had turned out to be a nervous rabbit of a dragon, and she no longer found his habits endearing. She began planning her escape route.
Perhaps some of her homeland's coldness had stuck with her after all, but she preferred to see her iciness as self-preservation.
