ELECTRIFYING AMBASSADOR TO THE SHIFTING EXPANSE
MATED TO TIGRAINE
Swept in on the wings of a particularly fierce storm as a fledgeling, this dragon had tried to fly before he could master the turbulent weather of his homeland. Luckily he was blown north to the hospitable climes of the Sunbeam Ruins, rather than south to the blistering realms of the Flamecaller, or west to drown in the Sea of a Thousand Currents.
True to the inclinations of his kind, Nightstorm has a tendency to 'borrow' any articles of apparel which aren't currently worn by another dragon. This often gives him a rather comical, ramshackle appearance, but he is never jealous of his treasures and happily relinquishes them should someone else show an interest. Before his bear came along, he had a Hooded Dodo pet, hatched from an egg he found while rummaging in Pinkerton's Plundered Pile. The Coatl Umbraura coveted the bird and he made a gift of it to her.
The bear turned up during the first solstice when Nocturnes issued from the Tangled Woods, distributing chests and traps around Sornieth for the other dragons. Possibly she had been intended as a trap, ravenous and locked into a cramped little box; but she was so cold and sore there was little fight left in her, and Nightstorm recognised her for what she was - one of the Guardian bears of his lost homeland - and nurtured her back to health.
