Ivory studies natural history along with their colleague Anemone. Ivory is especially interested in the rise of the mostly upright bipedal class of mammals who have diversified to include such beings as merfolk, harpies, lamia, centaurs, satyrs, dryads, longneck, and proto-werewolves fox furries kitsune. They keep in touch with other scholars and ethnographers who conduct similar studies.
Many are interested in the mysterious maren tribes. Atoll has befriended many on his travels.
Skysong is interested in the mountain-dwellers, the longnecks and fauns he shares his home with. Pearl was raised by harpies and is thus the expert in Calla's clan. Alise, Stonewings, and Sumac are all decently acquainted with forest dwellers like dryads and satyrs. They send letters to Ivory and someday they're going to compile all their information into a book to further understanding between all sapient kinds.
