Biography
Arthfael
collector | sympathetic | solemn | meticulous mate: Adda | PAIR RANGE Not all dragons survive the contagion. Their bones litter the Scarred Wasteland, some so aged that they've been reduced to dust and mix with the sand and silt. Arthfael tends to these bones, wandering the Abiding Boneyard and sifting through the soil for organic material and gathering it into decorative urns. Unfortunately, it is virtually impossible to trace their origin, leaving Arthfael with a large collection. Dragons of his clan suggested that he use the bone to create pigments or mixtures but Arthfael refused. Though the bones had been long abandoned, they still deserved a proper resting place and he would not make light of their role in Sorneith. His clan scoffed and called him soft. Any too weak to survive the Scarred Wasteland deserved to fade into obscurity. Appalled, Arthfael left his clan and sought a new home. However, this task proved difficult and few clans offered the space necessary to house his collection. Eventually, he found the Sanctuary, a clan of plenty that welcomed visiting dragons. He met with its leader, Millicent, and told of his struggle. He promised to contribute to the clan in any way possible, should he be granted the space for his collection. Millicent listened and agreed. For while those who braved and survived the contagion were worthy of commendation, it did not mean that those who perished did not fight as well and their stories deserved to be remembered the same. Arthfael thanked Millicent and settled with the other aberrations. They were wary of Arthfael initially, but as he spoke of his charge, they felt a sympathy for the fallen dragons and came together to build a memorial for his urns, paying tribute to those who braved the contagion to the bitter end.
