Dragon Info:
  • Zarina is an intelligent, outgoing, curious, and determined dragon, but though she pretends not to, she also cares deeply what others think and reacts badly when she believes that they dislike or otherwise disapprove of her.
  • Like many of the older members of Clan RavenRock, Zarina was born before Jinx's curse spread and without unique magic or abilities. As a result, she focused on her mind, wanting to experiment and learn new things.
  • Zarina's experiments were often seen as dangerous by some of her family and other members of the clan that believed that she might be wasting valuable clan resources.
  • Fed up with what she mistakenly saw as disapproval and scrutiny, Zarina ran away from her home and found herself aboard a pirate ship.
  • Despite her small size and strange way of communicating and seeing the world around her, Zarina became the ship's captain.
  • Eventually, found that her crew had become her new family as they explored the Sornieth through one exciting and harrowing adventure after another.
  • Zarina and her crew aboard her ship, the Sea Demon, are among the most well-known and feared pirates across the Sornieth though they do not kill or maim unnecessarily. However, they will hunt or follow any perceived treasure that they set their sight on relentlessly.
  • Nobody has ever found where the Sea Demon makes port to store Zarina and the crew's treasure, but some have speculated that despite her insistance that RavenRock is no longer her home and that she is not welcome, that the ship may have a port on a hidden island off the shores of RavenRock or in a hidden cove close to its beaches.
  • Zarina wears an enchanted compass made of molten metal on her wing that points her in the direction of anywhere that she wants to travel, though others that see the compass cannot interpret its directions and it is unknown where Zarina obtained the compass.
