Biography
Male Guard | Main Guard
"He who watches the night"
Mate: Azir
Named for his odd behavior, Nightwatcher was adopted from a Nature Clan at 2 days old. It was soon discovered that Nightwatcher lived in a more nocturnal fashion. He sleeps soundly during the day and goes about his business at night. Clan Diptimana Bacce decided that Nightwatcher would be a useful addition to the clan.
Nightwatcher is a quiet, reserved dragon. He doesn't normally speak to dragons he doesn't know. The only dragons he will talk openly with is Drayd, Mongul, and Azir who listen patiently as he describes what he sees at night before he himself goes to sleep. Nightwatcher normally communicates in short grunts and moves of his head.
Nightwatcher is a peaceful dragon. He doesn't enjoy combat or combat training. He doesn't even enjoy the thought of hunting. He is very observant and will pick up on many things in the middle of the night using mainly his sense of hearing and scent. Nightwatcher is relatively relaxed and has become the clear mind in the middle of chaos. Even though Nightwatcher seems detached he will often wake up in the middle of the day just to say hi and socialize with his fellow clan mates. Nightwatcher is very gentle with many dragons.
Nightwatcher is very stubborn. He doesn't like other dragons telling him how to do his job or how to handle a situation. He is also territorial, even over his food and clan mates. While Nightwatcher makes it a point to avoid combat, his peaceful nature disguises a sudden anger that can strike if someone pushes him too hard, if someone who he considers close to him is in danger, or if hatchlings or eggs are involved.
