Dymura

"Hm? Oh, no, don't worry, I'm not lost. Just checking to make sure the pesticide is working. It is, by the by."

Born into a particularly disorganized Plague Clan, Dymura didn't take long to decide that he'd rather be pretty much anywhere else. Shortly after reaching adulthood, he took off for the Starfall Isles due to their close proximity and forced himself not to look back.

It took Dymura a long time to find a new Clan to take him in, and they still didn't trust him- all except Latashia, a Mirror born to the Water Flight who had become an Emissary of the Arcanist. Despite their extremely different backgrounds and roles, they quickly bonded over their status as outsiders and became best friends, and eventually something more.

Unfortunately, Dymura himself was never able to blend in with his new Clan the way Latashia had. He had no talent with Arcane magic despite being a Fae, was expressive in 'wrong' ways and retained his preference for slightly rotten food. He tended to stay by his lonesome and hated interacting with other Fae, claiming that they were too difficult to read. He kept up his practice of Plague magic and often prayed to the Plaguebringer despite Her being considered a profane deity within his new Clan. Though he made many successful attempts to make himself useful to the Clan, they always regarded him as someone not to be trusted.

Needless to say, both he and Latashia were run out of the Clan once their hidden clutch of eggs was discovered. Though Dymura wasn't strong enough to help carry their eggs, he knew the Scarred Wasteland like the back of his hand and was able to guide her to a new Clan he had heard good things about from roving Mirror Packs- the Rotmarrow Clan. Their eggs hatched the night after they crossed the border, their hatchlings all Plague-aligned.

Dymura still doesn't quite fit in with the Rotmarrow Clan, but he no longer feels as though his presence is considered a burden. He found work with Landon, helping the large Obelisk maintain the vineyard and keep pests away, and quickly endeared himself to Jaimee with his organizational skills, making him an unofficial member of their family. However, his obsession with finding order in everything has led him to form one-sided rivalries with Heraclius, Jester and Valentino, as he cannot find any predictable patterns in their behavior and loathes them for it.
