Liakada was another former foster, the result of a friendly arrangement with Clan Larimar in Dragonhome; Adecia was surprised and honored when Liakada’s parents, clan leaders themselves, allowed the Reach to officially raise one of their children, especially one so young. After a brief panic in which Adecia flew halfway home before realizing that in the bustle of formalities she had somehow been handed the wrong hatchling, Longneck Reach welcomed home one of the greatest treasures it would ever produce.

She was meant to be placed in the care of Yahev and Sasha, and later to be trained by Adecia personally; however, as an infant she fell in love with clan bards Volkslied and Canzoni, who were equally enchanted with the youngster. She would stumble in determined circles around Volkslied's dancing feet, laughing delightedly and mumbling "bum, bum, bum" as she tried to keep up with the beat. Liakada was heartbroken when separated from them and overjoyed by music and awkward dancing, so she was swiftly transferred into their charge. They raised her with adoring attention alongside their own children, and taught her everything they knew.

Despite a speech impediment she has never fully been able to overcome, with her "r"s still softening to "w"s more often than not, Liakada is a rising star in the bardic community; a loreteller, an enthusiastic taleweaver, a loving mate and a mother many times over. But there’s still such an earnest sweetness that no one can help but remember the little girl who used to trip over her own feet in her rush to dance with her foster father.
