Anselm

Anselm, son of Abzu and Grace, grew up in a kingdom of peaceful order. He grew up with the cautionary tales of his father's homeland, the Kingdom of Glacies - tales of a weak king who didn't stand up against his scheming wife, jeopardizing the security of their rule. Anselm did not know that this story was about his own grandparents, but he understood the tone of disgust in his father's voice whenever he spoke of them.

The young Obelisk also grew up with the story of his parents' courtship. His mother tells of how flattered she was by his father's attention and how she fell in love with his awkward charm and brilliant mind. How Abzu has the spirit of a poet, even if finance management is his calling. His father always told him that he should marry for love, not for politics or money. He should choose a partner that he respects and whose well-being he cares for above even his own.

Anselm spent his early days watching his parents show affection for each other and towards their children. He couldn't understand how a family wouldn't be supportive nor could he understand the desire to rule a kingdom or amass great wealth. His parents provided well and were responsible with their finances so he never wanted for anything, but Anselm found joy in a simple existence. He cherishes experiences and the memories of time spent with family and friends over material possessions.

The dragon youth found a kindred spirit in FRIEND

Like his mother, Anselm pursues artistic creation. He enjoys painting, writing poetry, and dancing. His mate Twixt is skilled with many instruments and has a beautiful singing voice. He refers to her as his muse.
