Shui is unbothered by the more troublesome aspects of life. Since birth, most things have come by her naturally. She's never really had to work for anything. If she wants something, she usually gets it. If she doesn't get it, it doesn't bother her. She hasn't yearned or worked for much of anything in her entire life. That's commoner's work, in her opinion. The other hatchlings soon learned that Shui wasn't up for any games. Onyx was at first frustrated with her determination to do nothing, but her laid back, impassionate attitude won him over, and he began to appreciate her. In general, the dragons tended to leave her alone, in her blissful solitude. The solitude was only broken by a wildclaw, a dashing young fellow. She declared him to be hers almost immediately; and caught off guard and embarrassed by such a stunning woman, he did not object. They can often be seen on top the dam, staring at the stars, having idle conversation. As time went on, more and more coatls started to fill the ranks of the clan. The coatls of the clan, due to being the only breed not fluent in draconian, started to section off into their own social group. Eventually, while not officially being their own clan, Shui has assumed leadership over them, and acts as an ambassador and translator between the coatls and the rest of the clan, having learned basic draconian while growing up. She prefers the term "princess", enjoying a more regal title to her name. |
