Arctic Seas are the cousins of the Icebergs, and form the more-visible half of their working partnership. While their 'business' may run the gamut from pranks to pillaging (with perhaps some honest merchanting work along the way), what remains constant is the role that Arctic Seas dragons take on as scouts, protectors, and guides to the Icebergs. They patrol for trouble (or watch out for authorities) while the camouflaged Icebergs travel safely and stealthily in their wake, towing their cargo beneath the surface.

An Arctic Seas dragon outside of an Iceberg partnership often finds occupation guarding their clan's lair from any water-borne invaders or scouting nearby territories. Their scouting and protective instincts (often with a streak of playfulness) cannot be denied and they will find some way to exercise them. A wise clan leader will direct those instincts in ways that will benefit the clan rather than disrupt it.
