━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
The coven of Neptunus occupies a clearing tucked deep within the Starwood Strand, swathed in thin mist and haloed by the glitter of moonlit leaves. Their claim of land would be near indistinguishable from the wood itself were it not for the hoards of odd trinkets strewn throughout the grass, the wax candles floating above you, and the witchdrake who steps from the fog the moment you emerge from the treeline as if he'd heard–no, as if he'd felt your coming. "My, as the stars don't lie. A visitor truly has made their way here unaccompanied." Small, serene, and adorned in fine silver, he stands with a regal air, but the look he regards you with is something far more kind and delicate. His voice is light. Entrancing. "Consider me impressed, albeit a touch concerned. The wood can be tricky this far out. Had I been informed of your arrival, I would have come to guide you. That is, I would have..." His gaze drifts up to the twinkling lanterns hung upon the highest branches behind you, a mild breeze fluttering both pairs of his wings and sending a wave of strange shimmering sounds across the clearing. The thought lingers there, fate undecided. When his eyes at last pull back down to you, it's as if he's wading out from an eternity of memory, only just being reminded of the present–of your presence. "Ah, pardon me. I suppose it's of little consequence now. You're here, aren't you?" Shuffling off the wistful echo weighing the atmosphere heavy – and where did that come from, you wonder–he bows his head to you, all manners and charm once more. "My name is Svai, and I am the leader of this coven. Might you lend me the honor of showing you around?"
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Despite being the leader of his coven, Svai largely prefers to remain in the background. Asking his covenmates about him will gain you far more questions than answers, and asking the drake himself will gain you even less: a quiet chuckle, perhaps, or a sharpness of the eye, both shortly preceding a light-hearted but firm change of subject. Though known Order-wide for his powerful illusion magic, which, paired with his majestic air, seems to have earned him the epithet of 'fae prince', he doesn't seem to use it to intentionally trick others unless doing so is necessary for the safety of his coven; instead, he tends to use it for far kinder feats, creating illusory flocks of butterflies, meteor showers, or entire plays of fancy for visitors and covenmates alike to watch in awe. This lends to the predominant image of him as a gentle, tranquil, almost playful being–but a deeper intuition tells you that isn't the whole truth. There's a sense of ancient wisdom about him. There's a regal authority in his rare orders which no one dares to test. There's, above all, the elaborate riddles he seems to speak in and the veil he seems to hide behind. It's certainly possible to watch him come and go from the present moment, drifting off into some former life that seems to burden him with just as much regret as it does longing when he returns. Should you mention it, though, know that he'll never be honest with you; not directly, anyway. Nevertheless, the fact remains that no one can quite remember where he came from or how he gained the title of High Priest. What's more, if certain rumors are to be believed, it would seem he's one of the only drakes in this phase to have spoken directly with the Order's Council, which would make him privy to knowledge it would appear no member nor leader of any other coven has. That is, of course, only if said rumors are to be believed, however–and with Svai, if there's one thing you can be sure of, it's that you'll never quite know what to believe.
