Biography
Sven
astronomer | studious | thorough | wistful mate: Margu | PAIR RANGE Sven had not intended to stay in the Sanctuary. He'd only entered to observe a meteor shower visible in the Scarred Wasteland. He'd scoped out the Sanctuary's grand tower as an ideal place to watch the shower and make his notes before returning to the Starwood Isles. Upon his arrival, word spread and many of the Sanctuary's dragon gathered to watch the meteor shower, including Margu. When Sven first laid eyes on her, his heart soared. With her creamy coat and warm blossoms, she was the most beautiful gaoler he'd ever seen. She shone beneath the starlight and when the shower started, Sven struggled to focus on the meteors, only managing barely legible notes as his eyes often wandered to Margu. When the shower ended, Sven descended from the tower, nearly running to meet Margu. He was breathless as he introduced himself and asked if Margu enjoyed the meteor shower. Margu replied that she did and that the Sanctuary was lucky he came or they might have slept through the night without knowing the wonders above them. Sven said that there were many more wonders to be seen: constellations, flares, cloud formations. All unique to the Scarred Wasteland. He offered to show these to Margu the following night and she accepted. As she bid him good night, Sven grinned from antler to antler. It was late but he barely slept, filled with anticipation of seeing Margu again. The next night, Margu came to the tower and Sven showed her the night sky, telling the story of each constellation and praising the unseen beauty of the Scarred Wasteland. In turn, Margu guided him through the gardens, telling of the unique plants to the Scarred Wasteland and how life could flourish in the most unlikely of places. Sven soon fell in love not just with Margu but the Sanctuary. He admired the land's unique qualities so often overlooked and imagined a life with Margu amidst it. Endless nights strolling beneath the stars and passing down the stories to their hatchlings. Sven confessed this dream to Margu and asked if she would have him as her mate. Margu accepted and the two shared their first nest together. Sven permanently settled in the Sanctuary and set up his study on the tower's rooftop. He spends much of his time there, mapping a new night sky and conversing with new companions, but he always sets aside time for a moonlight stroll with Margu.
