Camille was born exactly in the place where she belongs, the Light Domain. Her mother Asali is a priestess of the Lightweaver, and a pious battlemage of Light magics. She was taught the same devotion as her mother, and spent her days studying alongside her as a hatchling. While her mother decided to eventually travel to spread the word of Light, Camille opted to stay in the only home she had ever known. She was softer then her mother, and lacking in magical prowess. Left lonely and without purpose, Camille decided to follow the path of exaltation, and dedicate her life to her beloved diety.

On her way to the Beacon of the Radiant Eye, Camille stopped in a small clan to gather supplies and rest for a while. This was of course Clan Abberate, and Camille felt a strange sense of belonging among the fledgling clan. Despite her previous mission, she decided to stay. She met Bloom as he joined shortly afterwords, and the two became mates. Camille volunteered for the job of caring for the Clan's hatchlings, raising them with care until they matured. Her amiable disposition made her well-suited to the task.

When the Clan announced its move to the Temple, Camille finally understood the overwhelming feeling of belonging she first had. She had a renewed sense of purpose, opting to take a more active role in daily Clan life when she was selected as a member of the Council. During the great split upon the discovery of Karna, she opted to stay out of the fighting altogether, instead opting to use her limited skills to heal the wounded from both sides. Now that Clan Voluistis is stable again, she has retired from politics, still doing her job of raising hatchlings. The most notable of dragons she has raised is Ananke, and she still offers her advice. Her old mate Bloom was called to the service of the Lightweaver after some time, and she was proud of him, although she misses him dearly. She has taken up with a new mate in the meantime, as loneliness is not something she can abide by. Her and Bloom still exchange letters occasionally, and there are no hard feelings between them. She is well-liked among her clanmates and is often seen sunbathing with her mate in her free time.
