lady of the lagoon
They say there is a dragon so still against the night sky that she is indistinguishable from the constellations above. If one comes to her lagoon, one might find her swooping down, sure that the movement below is the great fish she still yearns to catch. Whatever is said, this lady is one of the Prophetess' advisors; from the sky, she keeps half an eye on subjects of interest, and lets the progenitors borrow her insights in exchange for the trinkets they let her have in turn. |

2. The Lagoon
You decide to head to the lagoon, a perfect place to fish under the stars. You fish for a while, catching little fish. Nothing that would really feed you, but could be used as bait or familiar food. You take a break, staring up at the stars, when suddenly, a constellation you were looking at moves. It keeps getting closer and closer, until it covered us the moon and stars. The constellation changes shape into a figure and dives down into the lagoon. You stare at the water, confused as to what happened, as minutes pass. One, two, three until, finally a Ridgeback pokes her head out of the water.
"Drat! I've been trying to catch that fish for ages! I was camouflaged and everything, it couldn't have know I was there..." She trails off, peering down into the water, clearly frustrated. She turns her head and notices you.
"Oh hello there! We you trying to fish too? There was this big fish, an absolute giant! I've been trying to catch it all night long, you haven't caught it, have you?"
You show her your small basket, full of the small measly fish you caught earlier. Clearly not the giant that she speaks off.
"Well it looks like you haven't had any luck either, do you want to fish together? My name's Alene, by the way. What's yours?"
