Biography

Uh-oh, looks like this primal seer wandered a little too far from their home lair in the Penumbra Sepulchre, and now they're off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, they'd really appreciate it if you could just return them to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but they would be very grateful!

Agam's journey took them to the Arcane flight. While huddled under the astrolodome during an intense meteor storm, they encountered a scholar tending to a young hatchling who was chewing on a book. The scholar asked Agam if they saw anything in the hatchling's academic future. "She will be no scholar," Agam announced solemnly. "Her mind will be at odds with a lifetime of study. I see objects made by hand, carefully and carelessly. Unfinished projects, yes. A great many of them. Discoveries. Happy accidents. Some unhappy ones. And a great many friends. She will follow a different path from you. If both of you come to accept this, all will be well." The hatchling continued to chew on the book and Agam quietly took their leave.

Coming down from Arcane into the gusty territory of the wind flight, Agam rode the wind currents into Singer's Brook. With an almost-crash landing, they successfully landed in a clearing inside a clan's borders. With a knowing look around, they walked to the traveler's den where they found other travelers taking a breather from their journeys. This clan had gone through many phases to get where it was now, that they could tell just from looking around. It took a few days of adjusting to the bustling opportunities flooding Agam's mind before they felt well enough to participate in social activities. They foresaw two of the travelers starting a family together in this clan, and a few other dragons deciding to take their leave in the very near future to travel the world. So many futures in one little place, it was wondrous. Soon, Agam lifted their wings again to seek out more opportunities of their own!

Agam made their way down to a Strange Place within the Reclaimer's Glacier. They encountered many statues of obelisks and some strange hybrid dragons. There was one with stone colored wings who's future seemed to be pleasant and uneventful, full of many calm mornings and peaceful evenings. Another, which looked to be a brother to the first one, with firey wings, glowered at all who approached the odd alcove-though his future was full of turmoil he had a good heart and many good intentions.

As Agam wandered about the icy crack in the wall, they realized they happened upon a back entrance to a hibernal den, and one of the residents was very keen on meeting them. An oily Spiral fluttered between the slumbering brothers, coiling around their horns or their claws as they flew, only to nearly headbutt Agam's antlers upon inspection. This Spiral of dark scales and bright eyes had a capricious future ahead of her, thought her wild movements kept Agam's mind in the present as they tried not to get tied up by the curiosity of such a snakey being.

Agam managed to calm down the wily spiral and the two started to bond over their future seeing powers, though Agam noted a difference between them. While they spoke Mystic's ears would twitch and flick, until finally a booming voice from within the cavern roared out Mystic's name, prompting the little spiral to shoo Agam back out of the alcove. Agam left the cave but stayed close by, more out of a conundrum of where to go now that they've been shooed out of the clan they were seeking to visit. After a few more moments in the brisk and calm air, Agam opted to start travelling again. It wasn't until Agam was a long ways away form the clan that they noticed a flower that had been stuck in their pink mane.

Next, Agam ended up in the frigid Fortress of Ends, and took shelter with a local clan called the Icebound. They had some hatchlings, enjoyed the fresh cool air, and watched in awe as a two young Aethers were found crashed in the snow, and taken into the clan. Eager to find out more about these mysterious new dragons, Agam set out once again.
Bicolor Petunia

As soon as they stepped into the Hewn City, Agam's thick fur was covered in dust. They found their way under the rubble and shook it off. It got into the big blue eyes of a slumbering older Spiral hen, who shrieked in pain upon waking. "DARKNESS!"

"And?" Darkness was nothing new to Agam. Make eye contact with them and one could feel it radiating from their gaze.

The Spiral sprung up from her sleep position and coiled around herself. "The light of the Ruins overwhelms its radiance. Soon will be born a hatchling blinded by it from birth. Stare into the sun! The sun stares back."

Agam wondered if the Spiral would eat herself alive the way she was moving. They decided to express their concerns with conscious dragons above.

A Veilspun hen begun to flitter around Agam's ears once they resurfaced from the rubble. When Agam shared their experience under the surface, the Veilspun immediately had a riposte. "Toppy's 'prophecies' are a joke. Just don't tell her husband I said that or he'll wreck shop."

"She's married?! That old bat?"

"To a drake no battier!" The Veilspun laughed in a weird buzzy way, gesturing to a similarly elderly Spiral sparring with a Skydancer.

Agam shrugged their vestigial wings. "He seems sane. In great health for his age, really."

"Outside of combat, he's hopeless."

"Wait, that's irrelevant. Those two are clearly past their breeding prime, and none of you seem terribly interested. Or even compatible, really. What could she have been talking about?"

"Them." The hen pointed out a dilapidated hotel building swarming with other Veilspun. "Swingers. Spent a couple nights with them, not consecutively. They're pretty fun when they aren't going off about spirit beauty praise or whatever."

Agam regretted opening their maw, much less letting sound escape from it.

Nine days later, a nest of Veilspun hatched. One was a little hen with radiant, unseeing eyes, just as "Toppy" predicted. Agam was intrigued enough not to want to leave until they found answers. Unfortunately, the swarm disappeared before Agam could get the information they wanted. It was time they followed suit.

Agam spent a while venturing through the Scarred Wasteland and Tangled Wood, before finally coming across a clan known as Crow Callers.

Agam figured that they could relax in this clan until they felt like going on another adventure again. They got along with the other dragons who stayed at the inn, and developed an unusual friendship with WasabiCarpet, a young newcomer to the clan.

After a few days of staying in Crow Callers, Agam decided that it was time to go again. They hoped they could come back someday.
