Zharrea the Queen
I. Originally a member of a Shadow clan far away, Zharrea came to the Moonlit Waves as just a young dragoness. She was taken in by the High Court and raised by Mahmut and Guinevere, despite being the same age as them both. The three had more of a sibling relationship, and spent most of their time talking about the politics of the clan.

As a young dragoness, Zharrea found herself somewhat ostracized in the clan due to being a Shadow dragon. Heulwen, as the Shadow Representative, always stood up for her. As one of four Shadow dragons in the clan, Zharrea felt that her clan was a little bit too under represented. But there was nothing she could do. It was too deeply rooted in their clan's culture for the discrimination of non-Water dragons to stop. Growing older, Zharrea saw the flaws in Aislinn's leadership, despite the rest of the clan thinking she was a fair, just and revolutionary leader.

Zharrea watched as Aislinn did nothing for the Shadow dragons, lest she unintentionally offend the other flights that lived in their precious clan.

II. When the young dragoness Talri joined the clan, Zharrea was quite smitten with the quick-witted, beautiful Spiral. Due to her undesirable appearance, Zharrea didn't think she had a chance of being her mate, but the Spiral proved her wrong. The Tundra and Spiral spend most of their time together speaking of politics of the clan. Neither were very happy by Aislinn's unwillingness to interfere with the discrimination of non-Water dragons by dragons like Corrente. And although Calan was constantly reminding the Empress of such a fact, Zharrea knew there was nothing they could do to change the Pearlcatcher's mind.

The years passed, Zharrea and Talri grew closer eventually culminating their relationship in a wedding ceremony as typical in the clan. Every dragon in the clan wished them well, including Aislinn. But it wasn't enough to change Zharrea's mind about the Empress. And it was the night after their wedding that Zharrea and Talri made a plan.

They were going to rebel against the Empire.

Such a thing would be practically impossible, if it weren't for Zharrea's connections with several dragons in the Court of Coral and the Kingdom of the Sunstars. She knew starting a new clan would be terribly hard, but was determined to follow through with it. Talri obviously wouldn't let her wife go anywhere without her.

III. It was a dark night when they slipped out of the Empire with barely any provisions with them. They barely had anything planned, just that they would go to the Tsunami Flats and try to make a home there. Before they were able to leave, Taphrino the son of Hati and Mani intercepted them, stating he wished to go with and acknowledged them as his queens. Zharrea was ecstatic to have another member with them, though Talri was less so, believing that he was a spy. They decided to test him, and allowed him to accompany them.

After travelling for a long while, they finally arrived at the place they knew would be their new home. It was a medium-sized pool in the Flats, and they knew it would be the perfect place for them to create their kingdom. They named it the Kingdom of New Hope, a place where dragons who were unhappy with the rule of their leaders could live in peace.

Taphrino proved himself to be noble and loyal to his queens, hunting for them and caring as much as he could. When it came to be that the two of them found a Bogsneak egg, he helped to keep them protected and safe from other dragons. He was so useful, that Talri said she would allow him to have eggs with her when the time was right.

The two queens ruled over their Kingdom, and await the day more dragons join them. The day more dragons revolt. The day they decide to make their kingdom a better place for all.
