I don't think anyone in my last clan ever believed in my powers. I'm telling you they're real! I can see the future using my pearl. I can even see the dead. At least...I think I do. My last clan kicked me out after I "lied" that the clan leaders were going to have three children and they had five. It's more than three but they at least had three so that's not wrong. There was also the incident where I could see the past of someone who had lived in a state of hunger for the past week. He didn't think so but maybe it was a lot to me. Perhaps the final straw was looking to my pearl and seeing the end of the world. It could have been the reflection of a fire in the den but I saw it clearly. Destruction was on the way. It sent the clan into a panic for a week that had started a civil war and resulted in many injuries. Maybe I should have kept it to myself. Now I'm in a new clan that has no clue of my talents so I set up shop and waited for the dough to run in and my truths to turn the tides of other's fates. I was running my shop through the day when I'd heard that someone was born special in the clan. No one had seen this dragon but rumors were spreading that they had the touch of a god, or goddess in this situation. This dragon was supposed to be only a little bit younger than me from the sounds of things but I don't ever remember seeing her in the baby den or even the dragonling dens. I had asked questions but no one really knew anything. Then I asked Orchadilay and she looked a little nervous. I tailed her for a bit, watching her talk to her mate. The only word I heard was "primal." A primal dragon was born to them? I can only guess. Now, legend has it that primal dragons are able to do all sorts of things that others can't. They can read minds and spread their element until the entirety of a region is swathed in it. Primal dragons are heard to have been able to communicate with their elemental god and bring forth holy powers. Born here in the land of the light, I'm betting on laser shooting eyes and glitter spewing forth from their fingers. Perhaps even their excrement can shine like gold! I have to meet this primal dragon. I gotta know. |
