Biography
The Sun Patch Clan does not often have many hatchlings. There are only a handful of pairs who actively breed within the clan and their clutches are few and far between. However, the children who do hatch need education. While Spinel can look after them and keep them entertained, he is a terrible teacher. That is why the clan hired Florence.
Florence is an educator hailing from the most esteemed college in the Tourmaline Archives. She has trained many classes, and her students have gone on to boast great accomplishments— a few even ending up in the Oculus of the Eleven. Well sought-after for her skills, she began to travel and tutor the students of wealthy clans. She was well paid, well respected, and fought over for her talent. Her life was perfect.
But she grew to resent it.
What was the point of all this money if she had no want to buy anything? The point of renown if she was just treated as some tutor for the rich? The point of teaching if said students could afford to buy their way to the top?
So she left. She had travelled all over Sornieth for her job and had a few locations she was particularly fond of. Of course, she didn’t want to stop teaching— it was still her passion— so she scoured job postings. Eventually, she saw an ad from a small clan within the Shrieking Wilds. The location was close enough to the gardens that she could visit semi-regularly and the position came with free room and board.
When she arrived, Florence was pleasantly surprised by the quaintness of it all. Though there were some odd characters, the clan seemed happy. She has been their main educator ever since.
Not sure if I’m going with these genes but I thought they looked cool
