Biography

Virgil's emblem from Sanders Sides, a cartoon dark purple storm cloud against a purple plaid background. If you were going to infer one thing from my lair, other than my liking for the letter E, it would probably be that I find psychologically-based characters fascinating and that I either am or have a deep fascination with emo kids. (spoiler: it's both). Cut to Sanders Sides and to Virgil who is both a personified aspect of someone's personality and an emo kid. I don't normally like YouTube series and in fact, generally dislike the whole concept of YouTubers, but after seeing references to it and its psychological and philosophical themes on TVtropes, I figured I'd check it out, and it really is a good series. Not only does it frame its psychological and philosophical themes in a reasonably nuanced and very approachable way, it's also a pretty good series in its own right. The characters have good dynamics with each other, especially Virgil and Patton. If there's one thing I love more than emo kids, it's emo kids having odd friendships / found family dynamics with more wholesome folks. Anyway, you should watch Sanders Sides. It's pretty fun.

Haven't thought about Sanders Sides in a good while, but Virgil was always my favorite by a pretty big margin. What that says about me is up to interpretation, lmao

Virgil from Sanders Sides series! It certainly is a fun series, and the dragon you've used to represent Virgil suits him very well - the shadow primal eyes especially. Having boulder as a secondary seems fitting, too, for some reason I can't articulate.

Screenshot from Sanders Sides of Virgil, a young man in a purple and black hoodie with purple hair whose bangs cover his face. The background shows a wall with pictures of assorted dark imagery and emo bands.
