she . bounty hunter
a curse isn't a curse if you love it.
like her parents before her, redonda has an insatiable hunger. it rips and claws at her, always has, since she cried her first breath on the wretched sands of the boneyard. her parents are good parents, despite what they do in order to try and smother their hunger.
redonda's eldest brother is a slathering idiot. all the rest leave on a quest for satisfaction. and she hungers, oh, she does, but she's also smart as a whip and twice as mean. her teeth are needle-sharp and she intends to use them.
all along the plague borders, there are rows upon rows of wanted posters. so many flee their native flights to hide in the wasteland. and every day redonda peels one or two away from the posts in which they are glued, and hunts.
of course, she follows the rules. if they want their bounty back alive, she just takes a few bites. if it doesn't matter, well, they probably won't ask questions.
the warlord bands of the boneyard know to veer around dragons that look like her - her family has left a bloody legacy in their wake, and redonda works with it. she trails them in order to keep a safe place to sleep, but she wonders often if she should begin to look for a base of operations, rather than shambling across the wasteland, moving from mark to mark.
