Kunzite is the guardian of Kairos' most sacred relics, she haunts the caverns beneath the city, using her skill in illusion and foresight to protect the natural founts of magic there.
Capable of making even Aryse and Annaster uneasy, Kunzite is somewhat of a mystery to the others in the Refuge.
Some say that Kunzite was touched by the Arcanist himself to grant her the power she has.
She has a powerful skill to find those who are lost, and she will only leave her post if her assistance is required.
Despite her powers and the rumours around her, Kunzite is kind to those around her and comforting to the lost she finds, although she prefers to keep to herself.

After an earthquake destroyed her birth clan, an orphaned Kunzite was found by a thieving crew.
While she was difficult to handle, her captors tried to raise her as a tool. Kunzite played along until after witnessing one of the them harming a young hatchling, she came fully into her powers and drove the thieves insane.
She freed the other captives and those who couldn't return to their homes followed her until they found the City of Kairos. There they were taken advantage of, and it's rumoured that Kunzite was a key player in starting and winning the Akloni Revolution that turned Kairos into the Refuge it is today.
When she first came to Kairos, she apprenticed under Viriya so she could learn to control her unstable powers, something that only contributed to the unease surrounding her.
