Old bio:

He is the firstborn of Mezno and Tublai, and their third child. He looks up to his two older adoptive siblings, Antronay and Theanderline who helped care for him. Neji looked after Suigetsu when the hatchling came into the clan. He and Suigetsu often explore and hunt for the clan together. Then when Wolfe came along, they became like the three musketeers.

Everyone thinks Neji should be the next clan leader. Everyone, that is, except for Neji.

OK, so he wouldn’t mind it. He’s got that inborn confidence a leader needs; that inner spark that commands attention wherever he walks. But Neji would truthfully rather be goofing off under the leafy branches of the Everbloom gardens than having people count on him every day to be some kind of great leader. He has the personality, but in no way the work ethic. Look! He’s got a whole bunch of brothers and sisters who he is sure can do a great job—Catharsis and Mezno aren’t related by blood, so why should the next leader be? He has looked up to his older siblings Thenderline and Antronay immensely. Even though Antronay is not necessarily “leader material,” Neji still would rather spend his life hunting and exploring the wilds. Along with his pals, Suigetsu and Wolfe, Neji passes his days wandering, and doing work for the clan. He likes the freedom. He’d rather goof off in the woods all day with his two best buds. Maybe he has that charisma you need to be a leader. But the work ethic? Nah. Neji is happy right where he is.
