BIOGRAPHY
Drogwen is a Guardian without a charge. Years ago she had dedicated her life to The Search, only to come up empty-handed. Considered a sub-dragon worthy of contempt and exiled from her birth clan, Drogwen is a strong-willed and competent survivor. She is stoic and shrewd, but also often appears distant to others. The head of Sundry's Refuge, Drogwen makes for a cold and business-like leader, despite caring deeply for their cause. In truth, Drogwen fears rejection from those she cares for above all else. She emotionally isolates herself, and despite caring deeply for her clan, she hides her past from all but a few. She has had quite a long history, and once fought in a battalion directly under Lightweaver. Still, throughout her travels, she never found a charge. Most in the clan assume that being the head of the Refuge is her lifelong charge, a front she is more than satisfied to uphold.

BIOGRAPHY
While she is closed off, Drogwen does make deep connections with dragons who earn her trust. However, most dragons are unable to approach her, and she prefers it that way. Her closest friend is Burke, a Tundra dragon who was instrumental in persuading her to create the Refuge. Drogwen enjoys doing good in the world, but also believes that she needs to be a strong figure for the clan to rally behind. However, she has a much softer side, and those she is close with mean more to her than anything. She considers Lylum as something of a troubled daughter, and cares quite a lot for the young Banescale. Drogwen attempts to connect with Lylum, but she is not the most adept talker, and their outings in town often end in Drogwen prying the Banescale off of some poor stranger Lylum perceived as a threat. Regardless, she doesn’t afford herself much time to relax or bond with anyone. Drogwen is constantly worried about the threat of attack from all sides. While the Refuge does have a tenuous trade alliance with the Lightweaver's more zealous forces, Drogwen closely monitors activity around the Refuge. She is acutely aware of the thin protection the Vanguard affords her clan, but her history with its leader makes it difficult for Drogwen to respect any of the battalion's ranks. Her sheer size and stern demeanor can be rather intimidating at times, and her tactical experience makes her one of the strongest warriors in the Refuge.
