Unlike xir other three nestmates, Aruhe found quickly that as much as xe loved the company of familiars, xe had shockingly little talent for handling any but the gentlest of them. For xir own safety, Alto and Timbre quickly decided it would be better to encourage xem into other fields, and from these endeavors came Aruhe's discovery of xir exceptional green thumb.
Like xir parents, Aruhe is not the social type. Xe prefers spending xir hours in the woods to observe the wildlife, as well as going to the gardens xe manages to take naps or to talk to the plants. Xe is not specifically opposed to the company of other dragons, but xe constantly stresses about how xe might be boring the other dragon, or saying something strange, or behaving oddly. (Flowers, in most cases, will not talk back.) Clanmates have assured Aruhe that xe is perfectly lovely to talk to—xe seems to have generally taken after xir father's compassionate and easygoing personality—but xir concerns persist, unfortunately.
Xir gentle and thoughtful disposition makes most dragons surprised to learn that Alto has also given Aruhe some combat instruction at xir request. Though Aruhe has not taken xir training to the extent that xir older sibling Eune has, xe is adequately equipped to handle xemself in most scenarios. Aruhe's request comes mainly as a precaution.
However, xir training has proven to have a more specific use. Xe may ordinarily be a longsuffering dragon, but xe will lose xir temper instantly before any who intentionally or unintentionally threaten harm to the live flora in xir presence. The last incident where Aruhe flew off the handle involved Berceuse accidentally trampling on a few wildflowers while picking some herbs: Aruhe has little memory of what happened during xir rage, and Berceuse was impressed by the fact he was only narrowly able to fend off xir assault. There is no mercy for dragon and insect alike to those who endanger xir plants. Woe be to the dragon who mistakenly eats even a live Patio Rose in front of Aruhe.
