Biography

"Fly, move, don't stop, fly, fly, fly! I hear the song, I flow with its tune. No... I am the Wind. You can't catch me, I won't let you. I dare you to try, and make you pay if you do."

Hailing from a land unnamed and time unknown, seeming to dance on the gusts of the Windsinger like they're her personal refuge, Rayna proves why she was named 'mighty': she stops for hardly anyone or anything save fits of rest or supplies, just to be on the move again before one can say or do anything to keep her in place. Magic graced upon her by the god she is most attuned or pure happenstance, her eyes are just one sign of how she's grabbed onto the deceptive power of Air and Wind for her own needs and gains. Whatever those might actually be.

Wicked and cunning but hardly ever cruel, Rayna darts and weaves through any land that happens to end up being her path but seems to like the thick foliage and murky interiors of forests and marshes. In a bit of almost childlike whimsy, racing or just idly gliding through the trees and playing with the spots of mist seem to be her favorite pastime. Making patterns or having the plumes dance in response to her simple game, such juvenile things seem to be the only thing that can really slow her down for a moment. But beware, just because the silly game has her distracted and calm doesn't mean she's not a grave danger!

In battle, this Obelisk proves gladly why she's a force to be reckoned with if perturbed into aggressive action, what doesn't get spun around by her powerful control over Wind sees you at the mercy of her claws. Or fangs if she's really in a mood, shimmering scales only ever dulled by your blood, Primal eyes howling with her magic thanks to her grim intent. Then, with the battle over (and you having some luck to have survived the attack), she's gone again as if the whole thing never happened. Moves to clean off her scales and fur, annoyed by the whole thing yet more interested in leaving her scorned foe far behind with the knowledge you'll have learned from your mistake.

More common sense for later on if you should ever cross paths again (if she didn't manage to kill you or really wasn't in a mood dark enough to actually achieve that feat on purpose), she may or may not glance your way and scoff in plain vexation that you just so happen to be near once more. If you're smart (and we hope you are), you'll do everything you can to see yourself somewhere close to being in her good graces even if you haven't done anything to irk this deceptively vicious dragon. Be it some kind of inflated pride or just impatience with other dragons, what is certain is how being forgiven by this particular being will be trials abound if you're so determined.

Or just turn and walk in the other direction. As far away as you can. Yeah, good choice.
