Biography
![](/rendern/portraits/716405/71640466p.png)
"..." This dragon gazes at you with casual air, calm for the moment and perhaps, with a glimmer of wisdom....
A curious addition to the clan and often living up to his name, which means 'little spear', this oddly small dragon proves time and again to be stronger and wiser than he appears.
Mainly because he's been struck at an unknown time by the blessed curse of Eternal Youth. Near as we can tell, this hardly bothers him, perhaps finding some unusual contentment in being smaller, lighter and thus easier to miss than his properly grown brethren. With the equally majestic Guardian Foo, (whose own name is never spoken same as Bercan practically remains just as silent at all times) to protect and maybe humor his instances of playfulness, this otherwise strong and imposing Obelisk seems as idle and innocuous as the pond-water he likes to control with his magic.
Nay, do not be fooled! For even a dragon spelled to be so small is more dangerous than any beast or rival might initially realize... not until it's too later and one is close to drowning in the furious torrent set upon them by the little dragon's irritation over being attacked. Like a proper tempest, the reason can be meaningful or equally trivial: his handsome tail was stepped upon by pure accident or as with the case with arrogant fools, done so to see if one of his 'elders' will attack in response.
Right before being clawed in the face by their tiny target, if a sudden deluge of water doesn't see them drenched and on edge of being swept away within seconds of their offense. Often times allowed to retreat in order to regret their decision, if not spurring things on to end up worse than a little scuffed for their impudence.
The rest of the time, Bercan is content to linger and watch, filling his time with books or observing the goings-on of others. For what purpose, none know and even fewer are willing to ask.
