The Inescapable

At first, 'Hel' was something of an amusing nickname, but soon, caught between a suspicious mirror-like resistance to others and an intense desire to coddle every member of the clan, it came to define his conflicted personality.

The only one of Sesaket's broods to stay with the clan, she tried to raise him as another mirror. As a result, he tends to be somewhat standoffish with other species and often growls in the back of his throat at the most inconvenient of moments.

Though he has difficulty expressing his emotions, he is very protective of certain members of the clan. He doesn't tend to interact with his 'Charges' (though he rather likes the title), preferring to keep an eye on them from a distance. It's just a little easier, that way. As a result, he has never actually spoken to either Flynn or Eagan, much to Boneyard's amusement.

When not 'guarding' his friends, Hel serves as the clan's brewer. A self-appointed position, he decided on it after discovering that boiling certain plants produced heady results. It's strong stuff, and he has to keep a close eye on the process to ensure it doesn't mature too much, but other dragons seem to enjoy it. He's even started to trade it out to other clans for their celebrations.

Not a bad way to make a profit, really.
