Biography
Paired with Duskywing - "Autumn Woods"
Hatchling pinglist:
Shortly before she was due to hatch, Sylvia's egg went missing. Butler and Gnaw searched, but they found no trace of the egg. Sylvia's brother, Hickory, hatched without issue, and the trio returned to the clan.
They arrived to find a commotion, dragons whispering and eyeing the nursery. There, curled up in one of the nests, was Sylvia.
There were only 3 other hatchlings in the nursery at the time. Duskywings hadn't seen anything, but Pale and Carnation, with their strange eyes, had.
A cluster of nearly-invisible dragons had appeared, carrying Sylvia wrapped in mist. The dragons were unlike anything they had seen before, with odd markings and brightly colored, mismatched eyes.
This concerned Butler and Gnaw. They had recognized her as their daughter, both by appearance and by scent, but this was certainly a strange occurrence. Butler had heard stories like this before, when she was lost during her youth, and they didn't always end well.
But Sylvia seemed otherwise normal, healthy, and happy. She had a wild excitability that her family lacked, and, occasionally, she seemed to know things she shouldn't. They had no way to know if these things were related to her disappearance, or if they were just part of Sylvia's personality, though.
At first, they resolved not to tell Sylvia about what had happened with her egg. She had no recollection of the events, and the memories quickly faded from her brother as well, since they were both so young.
However, as Sylvia aged, the peacock markings she had inherited from her mother slowly faded. In their place, strange runic letters formed across her body. Finally, it was time for Sylvia to learn the truth.
