This little Smallfry is your loyal companion throughout the main single player campaign for Splatoon 3. While primarily helping you out during the story mode, he first helps you right in the tutorial section of the game, leading you to a Splattershot Jr, and can be seen in various locations in the main plaza of Splatsville (and with the DLC, in both Inkopolis Plaza and Square as well!).

a creature, a menace, a consumer of fuzzy ooze, a tiny salmon, a giant salmon, a hero, a scrap hunter,
but most importantly; a friend

note; everything after here text wise is old lore, dunno if he and anarchy are still linked to the glowshroom grotto so im leaving it for now but it'll be cleaned up and/or deleted later

logical brain; i should probably not get any new projects for a while and save since I just impulse bought snom and finished them a few days ago.... hey where'd all my gems go

splatoon brain; hehe smallfry go brrrrrr

- a weird lookin' aberration, which is saying something considering the breed in question
- his name is soup! but he also responds to smallfry, lil buddy, etc
- a part of eventide's troupe of aberration clowns, is not aware of this he's literally just happy to be there
- not a single thought behind those eyes
- other than be small, c o n s u m e, and friend :)
- very loveable regardless
- will eat anything and everything they're yeeted at
- is also a good distraction. who wouldn't stop and look at this friend shaped lil guy
- constantly covered in what appears to be ink.
- constantly covers everything in said ink
- other than anarchy, he doesn't have a preference in particular on who he hangs around the most
- if he isnt with them, then chances are he'll be hanging around chroma.
- they let him use his ink on some of their spare canvases. a lot of the art he's made is shown off proudly around the grotto
- anarchy will sometimes join him in drawing. theirs usually consist of random doodles or portraits of smallfry
- bonded to anarchy. will follow them wherever they go no questions asked. they're friends :)
- would do anything for them. be yeeted into an enemy, take them out or be a distraction? transform to fight the big bad? yes
- with the power of love and friendship (and music), can transform into hugefry when necessary
- likes to hum different songs! most notable would be the one anarchy claims is called 'calamari inkantation'
- sometimes anarchy will hum along with him!
- can talk a little, but anarchy is the only one who can understand him.
- he's able to easily communicate with the rest of clan through gestures or drawings when needed, though!

- as indicated/implied by the golden trout alongside the regular one (closest i can find to salmons ingame, at least from what i could find), he'll eventually grow to be a goldie!
