______ Athos is quite normal in comparison to most employees, he arrived one day for a particular listing for a job and got it within seconds. His exact job description? "Don't let anything get out of the basement ;) -Wispy" was what was written on the note.

His large intimidating appearence is highly contrasted by his extremely respectful nature. He's not the smartest employee, but definitely one of the kindest. Unless you've been personally sent to the basement by Wispy, since then he trusts her judgement that they have a good reason for being sent there in the first place.

He's never allowed to leave his post by the door to the basement, which doesn't bother him since few other dragons have the strength to stop anything that may attempt to escape. So to pass the time he does like to read, especially the steamy romance novels Khione lets him proofread. It was accidental when he found the first copy but is allowed to read the drafts in exchange for not telling anyone about Khiones hobby.

______ It was a normal day at his post, Khione was supposed to visit soon to deliver more things for him. He didn't really like making her do the extra work but she insisted that it was fine. He knew arguing was pointless if Khione made up her mind about something. Though now that he noticed she starting to be late for lunch, which was odd since she was rarely even a minute late to have lunch with him.

The lights suddenly went out. This, was not good but not unmanagable. He just had to wait for someone else to report this and it should get fixed soon. Khione could probably do it but what if her food gets cold in that time? Sure it would happen anyway with how her body temperature is in the negatives, but he still didn't like the idea. He couldn't exactly call management to fix this since he's only allowed to call if something escaped the basement, which is much more dangerous than a broken lightbulb, and he wanted to stick to doing exactly as he was told!

His train of thought was interrupted by some soft yet heavy footsteps, they had to belong to something the same size as him or possibly even larger. He went completely still, only making small movements so he could pinpoint the location of the sound. Paired with the footsteps was a quiet humming for a tune that sounded familiar, an old kids show perhaps? But that's strange since whoever is humming sure doesn't sound like a kid, it was a jaunty tune but hummed in the most monotone way while still being recognisable. That was the opening theme for Windmill Time™ but not any season he immediately recognised. Ah well, it was a good show anyway.

The humming approached yet somehow got quieter, the only details in the darkness that Athos could see was a pair of glowing eyes watching him expressionlessly. He stared back since all these signs for sure were pointing to someone who had a specific protocol if ever seen, he just couldn't remember who it was. Reaching into one of several pockets he pulled out a note and a glowstick, the note was handed to him by Wispy on his first day detailing the most important things to remember. Positioning the glowstick with one paw he consulted the note for its wisdom. "In the event of seeing him (tall, dark, raisin-y) call me immediately!!!" Looking up once again he squinted to try and get a better look at whoever was right in front of him, thankfully not bothering to move at all. Tall? Check. Dark? Well he blended into the darkness seamlessly so, check. Raisin-y??? Well Wispy did have some strange methods of describing things and that sure matched whoever was in front of him.

Reaching for the walkie-talkie that he rarely had to use he held the button for Wispy and calmly muttered the phrase:
"Wispy, there's a raisin in aisle 13, floor 1"
