Recommended for the position by Lonnie, Jamie stumbled into Schwartz Industries, hat in hand, and got the job. There were a plethora of unmanned posts, specifically in the Security Division. He hadn't bothered to ask why. All he wanted was a chance to do better. Money wasn't a priority out in the sticks. It would be in the city.

He's a laid back, easy going man who's good with his hands. Jamie was prime real estate for any blue-collar job. Heavy lifting. Ranching. He could do it all. It just wasn't what he wanted to do.

He wants to be an architect. He wants to design something useful - not just hitch a fence post. S.I. offered him the ability to attend night school, so long as all his designs were patented under their name. He'd get paid. He'd see the end result. That was enough for a simple man with a soft heart.
