Luce

L ✗ uncontrollable anger ✗ violent ✗ lunges at anyone near ✗ wears a metal muzzle/mask connected to a bunch of chains (not his choice) ✗ able to speak, just doesn’t ✗ some have put shirts on him, but he always rips them off ✗ was forced into being a “bodyguard” by someone who was hunting down his brothers (who didn’t know he existed) and was trained to help “be rid of them” ✗ while being “held captive”, he was named Lucifer (after his devil-like behavior), and his real name was forgotten and thrown away

A frenzy of madness.

They drag me across the dark pavement, the chains accessorizing my body fall at my feet, leaving silver scars of pain on the ground. I can only express my emotions in pulses of anger, pulling back, tugging on the silver ropes opposing to their obliged decisions. I attempt to fight and resist. Again and again, it does nothing. My repeated lunges ask for freedom, and yet they do not comply.

They toss me to the ground, and I glance at the marks on the ground laid down in front of me. They symbolize my permanent struggle and my plead. Am I really that weak, weak enough that I need to wait for someone else to save me?

The iron-plated mask over my mouth swallows my voice, making me forget what it sounds like or even how to use it. What even is a voice? Even at the rare times when it’s off, the unanswered question still remains the same. What is a voice?

This is certainly…a frenzy of madness.
