Zalrina

DESCRIPTION CONTINUED
Zalrina was born from a wayward alchemy accident in Hades' den. An attempt to make a simple batch of goo created her egg: a cold to the touch, shivering thing, cushioned by some small glops of goo at the bottom of Hades' cauldron. Her abrupt introduction to the world caused some magical havoc in poor Hades' den-- inanimate objects and furniture sprung to life and small blue sprites began to flutter all around the cauldron. Everyone was shocked. A few days later, she hatched, faithfully guarded by Hades' newly animate ottoman and surrounded by her sprites. Hades had little parental instinct, so she was cared for by Nacht, who became her doting adoptive father. Her and Nacht still have a very close father-daughter relationship. Once she got old enough, Hades began tutoring her in the healing arts and teaching her about plants and magic. Eventually, once she was old enough to explore the clan's territory on her own, she found her way into the Poison Gardens to search for new medicinal plants for her cures, despite lifelong warnings that it was too dangerous to explore. She found it wasn't really all that dangerous (except for the plants), and the garden's denizens were very friendly to her. The first person she met there was Tripp, who has introduced her to the rest of the dragons living in the Poison Gardens, and helped show her that there were both good dragons, and helpful plants, in the Poison Gardens.
