And I don't want to be looking over my shoulder. :: Memorial dragon in honor of Ignacio "Nacho" Varga ::  Ignacio is a desert dragon, and a rebel and outlaw. He has a good heart, though, and didn't want to entangle himself into crime originally; he has once been a nomadic prince, but betrayed his kingdom, because the king caused harm to the whole desert. After he backstabbed his king, he now always lives in fear that he gets tracked down for his betrayal. He loves art, music, and telling stories, and is searching for a peaceful place where he can be safe and gets the respect for saving the desert from a cruel king. Like his story shows, he can seem dangerous and even demonic, but in truth he doesn't want any trouble, and is a good, friendly soul; just extremely cautious to trust anybody due to his past. And here he sits in the desert, wistfully looking into the distance and being interrupted from mindlessly strumming his lute to daydream of better times. He's pondering, hoping, and yearning at the same time, not being dramatic, but accepting his fate, even though there is still a glimpse of hope to be found and rescued, or even just to be given a small opportunity to chance things to the better. Even when he seems disillusioned and lonely, he's in truth (day)dreaming and waiting for someone to find him, always being withdrawn and lost within himself - and still there would be hope in his eyes the moment he turns around his head to you, if you find him and talk to him. |
