Everyone knows the name Supernova- well, most people know him as Nova. He's Nova, lead guitarist and founding member of the superstar (ha) band Black Hole. Everyone knows Black Hole, everyone knows Nova. Everyone knows he's the best guitarist in the whole (one of, ahem) and that he's got charisma oozing out his ears (more like he's a huge diva). Well, they did know. There was a time, a glorious time, where Black Hole was the biggest thing in Neo Necropolis and they had fans climbing buildings to get to them. There was a time where Nova was surrounded by his best friends and the love of his life, and he had nowhere to go but up. But that was long ago. He can't even say where it started. Maybe it was always there. He was the lead singer first, until Juice Jones started singing in a dirty little dive and he knew, he knew he had to bring that boy in before someone else did. Maybe he was always afraid that he was being overshadowed by his own soulmate. Maybe he was only able to keep it hidden for so long before he exploded in spectacular fashion, causing years of fights, spats, meltdowns, and the eventual explosion of the band as JJ quit to be a solo artist. It was after his first solo album that the guitarist formerly known as Nova wrapped his car around a building. He woke up several years later from a coma no one ever thought he'd wake from- except for JJ, apparently, who'd been paying for his care for most of those years. He's a changed man now, he'd like to think. He's had a lot of time to think, after all. He's a fiery man with a fiery temper, one whose passion runs so hot it boils inside him all the time. He loves so hard. He loves music, he loves his band, even if he destroyed it with that fire. He loves his fans, and he loves the city, and darn it all he loves his life. It's hard to pick up the pieces and go back to being a good person- or learn to be one in the first place- but he's really, really trying.
