Follower "Every Hue has a meaning. What is your hue?" Arcenciel is an oddity. Their egg was found by another dragon, and hatched, but it was unclear where their parents had gone. And once they had hatched....the dragons around them were stunned. So bright and vivid were the coloration of Arcenciel's scales and feathers, that the other dragons were slightly afraid. What could this have meant? Each movement gave a different color, each angle a different hue. There was a sparkle almost to each feather and scale.....and the hatchling seemed blissfully unaware of the turbulence around them....or maybe they just didn't care. There was some research done on the hatchling, who was dubbed Arcenciel due to the rainbow effect of their feathers....but no one could figure out who had laid their egg. To make matters worse, Arcenciel did not speak for the first half of their life. It was clear they understood what was being said to them, but for some reason the dragon stayed mute. While other hatchlings had learned the languages around them, and spoke within a month.....Arcenciel went 2 months without speaking a single word. And when they did finally start speaking....it was strange. Their voice was melodic, sing song.....and fluent as if they'd been speaking all along. They referred to themselves in third person, and never as a specified gender, correcting anyone that called them 'girl' to their name instead of a pronoun.....as if to insist that they were the rainbow, were the colors that shimmered on their hide. Within a few weeks of finally speaking, Arcenciel vanished from that clan, leaving unexpectedly and setting off on their own....finding their way to Adelaide's territory where they settled down since no one looked at them strangely, or tried to study them. Arcenciel has a strange habit of calling other dragons by a color or hue, and it's not necessarily the same one that their scales represent. At least until they learn the other dragon's name. And even then.....sometimes they slip up.....
