"The spirits call all of us, can you hear it?"

Jiqui was born with very unfair odds.

His parents were already outcasts, living on the frozen expanses of the Ice Fields. The coloration of their feathers and scales were pale, almost their entire bodies were white, save for some peachish colorations. This helped them to hide and hunt in the frozen expanses, providing for each other. They hadn't expected to have an egg, though, and it complicated things.

It was even worse when Jiqui was born with the same pale coloration. His parents lamented that fact....and it did not seem like fate would allow Jiqui to survive for very long. He seemed to be born small, and rather weak.....and he acted differently. But to his parent's surprise, he grew extremely fast.

What he did not grow out of, was his....spacy personality. He didn't seem to be all there, almost always looking out to the horizon, where the sky met the ice. The small pack of dragons just didn't seem enough for him....and after having reached adulthood, he requested that he be allowed to leave on his own. Worried for him, his parents were against it. after all, he was pale, and would be outcasted and ridiculed. But he didn't seem to mind. There was little that his parents could do to stop him, and allowed him to go. But also asked him why.

"Because the spirits are telling me this isn't where I'm meant to be." was with what he replied. He did not elaborate, and instead left.

Once he could, he donned a dark robe to hide his pale feathers. His wings were still quite pale, but with the cloak he only gained a piteous look from other coatls as he traveled. He followed what he called the "spirits" and eventually ended up in Adelaide's domain.

Big changes here. Stay here.

So he made himself a home in Adelaide's domain. Though he knows he does not need to wear them, he still wears his cloak....and only shows his pale feathers to those he truely trusts.
