Citrine is the clan's proudest and perhaps even greatest metalforger - despite never having been to the Ashfall Wastes to begin with. Others like Raijin, skeptical of her desires, often questioned how on Sorneith a spiral born and raised in the Crystalspine Reaches could ever perfect the art the Flameforger and her children have practiced for centuries. But the wily spiral set out to prove all of them wrong, tacking both their doubts and her insomniac tendencies in one go by trying to learn as much as she could. She visited other dragons who had hailed from the Ashfall Wastes, taking in their advice. When she and her clanmates moved to the Lightweaver's domain, she picked up all the dusty tomes she could find about metalforging and began to read. Slowly but surely, Citrine began to hone her craft, reaching such a level that not even the pessimistic Ridgeback could tell her she could never be a forger.

Fire might not be in Citrine's blood, but no one can say it isn't in her element.
