Nereus, along with his mate Nisaea, are two of the oldest dragons in the Starlight Searchers, surprassing even Eytha and Kauri themselves. Though his clanmates go to Kauri regarding more personal matters, when it comes to technicalities, Nereus is the go-to Tundra. He's spent years practicing and inventing new types of magic in the Crystalspine Reaches, and even continues to to this day. In comparison to his clanmates, he is wise, cool and composed, more or less a kind of Arcane sage. He seems to gain favour with anyone in the clan, even if they may dislike him. Being raised by Fae, Nereus has trouble deciphering emotions in non-Fae dragons, which can prove a blessing (of ignorancе) or a serious fault. In the end, however, he remains loyal to the Starlight Searchers, until the very end.
