Miggett

From the very moment Migget was, born to say the least, they were already surrounded by mountains of skeletons and corpses in various stages of decay. They themselves looked like they a patchwork doll made out of the bodies that surrounded them, yet they could move, they could speak, and most of all they needed to eat. They don’t know why they are the only one that could move within this pit full of death, nor have they ever met someone that was similar to them.

Instead, they only other living things that would come around here were those that came to throw more corpses into the pile. They tried to interact with these beings, but all of them fled from horror and disgust from their appearance, sometimes these strangers would even try to harm Migget as well. This caused them to grow wary of others, before eventually becoming hostile to whoever comes next in order to prevent them from ever being hurt again.

All Migget has is the company of the corpses around them, so it was only natural that they started to thinker with them as well. They first only saw these bodies as their food source, but soon enough their fascination of them grew. Some of the bodies still had their clothes and whatever trinket they had on before they died; Migget used these materials to make all sorts of things to make their area a little bit more comfortable. Such as creating bedding and even toys to keep them company, gadgets were a bit tricky to work with as they didn’t have much knowledge of how to maintain them, so they usually end up breaking down quickly. Though the metals they leave behind made for wonderful weapons for them to use against any intruders that may come.

But what Migget truly love to do was to examine the bones that the corpses had, as there was a variety of species they could choose from the ever growing pits of the dead. So many of them had different bone structures that were fascinating to examine, sometimes they would even take the skeleton apart and try to put it back together again in order to memorize it to memory. Migget even began putting these skeletons onto themself, their flesh assimilating these bones into limbs that they could actually use, leading to them to develop an growing collections of limbs that they could use and discard at any time.

They still didn’t know how they came to be, a thought that has come to their mind every so often. Yet, Migget could safely say that they were at least somewhat content with their way of life, for now that is.
