BEGINNING. Qhysyn was part of a small magical colony of Veilspuns who distrusted outsiders, and kept to themselves. Unlike her colony, Qhysyn liked to explore, and eventually befriended a little Tundra with pretty wings. They kept up their friendship for years until Qhysyn’s brother discovered them, and forced her to cut contact. She did, but not before binding her and her friend’s souls together, marrying them for life. She was punished severely when she returned back to her colony, and it was only after years of planning did she finally escape. NOW. Qhysyn found Damsel once more after months of searching and digging around, and began getting to know her better. Their life can be considered married bliss, except they’re still very much in the dating stage and awkward. Damsel helped Qhysyn set up her identity and got her a job as a fisherwoman. She likes to talk to the other fishers and sailors and exchange tips. She’s the best at her job, and it’s mainly due to her innate magic, though she doesn’t like to use it elsewhere. HER. Qhysyn is quiet but she is very curious. Despite this, she never drifts too far from Damsel, always returning during the evenings. She shows her love and care through her actions more than words. Though she’s still new, she’s slowly making friends and learning a world so different from the one she was taught. Qhysyn is still trying to relearn her world, so she’s a returning member of the library, visiting and reading whenever she has the free time to do so. |
