Fathom's place has always been among the ice. She had been on her way to the Southern Icefields to the southwest, but had travelled far from the Sunbeam Ruins and stopped on the southern shores of the Starfall Isles. There she was observed by Rosdor performing her trademark hobby: carving blocks of ice into perfect spheres, exactly the same size as her pearl. Rosdor saw her potential as an ice gatherer for keeping the food stocks cool to prevent spoiling. Fathom saw her chance and took it, and in exchange for her work made the lair her home.

Mate: Zhongsha and Mirage. Fathom was a bit annoyed that she'd be left out of negotiations for adding Mirage into the group, but she warmed to it quickly; especially when she learned that Mirage had a knack for finding food in the Snowsquall Tundra where she often collects ice.
