Wraith, much like their name implies, appears one day like the fading image of a bad dream. They are there to witness the moment of Hemlock's collapse, Lothaire flying dazed away from the scene. And Wraith, too, is dazed. Bumbling here and there, an irritating sense that they've forgotten something lingers within them. They're surprised to be set upon by attackers, but welcome the opportunity to vent their frustrations. Sickly fire dancing at their clawtips, they put up a good fight.

But ultimately, they are no match for Phydra and her accompanying fighters. It isn't until Wraith is on the ground that it occurs to them to ask why they've been attacked. Phydra accuses them quickly of being a Cruxrose spy. Wraith asks if Cruxrose is the clan led by Hemlock- it is. Do they know of his defeat?

Phydra's eyes go wide. She lifts Wraith like they're nothing and drags them back to the Riftroot lair. It isn't until they arrive that she realizes she's the only one who can touch them.
