B I O G R A P H Y

Raik was considered a senior well
before her election as the second flight under
the serve of Aada. When the fifth empress
came to her in confidence, expressing fear for
her life and her kingdom Raik was the only
choice she really had to have a chance at a
better future. When first proposed with the
rank of future Empress Raik declined as she
was neither particularly popular nor of calm
nature. But as Aada passed, an event that
the both of them had anticipated and
prepared for Raik turned all the colder. If it
was her against the world she was fine with it.
The formerly carefully uphold impression of
power and order in the kingdom came
crashing down as Raik openly called out the
Cult of the Plaguebringer, revealing the
Empire's dire political situation to the rest of
Sornieth. Raik knew that, by nature or by
hand, she did not have a long time left on this
earth and by Aada she would use it to cause
as much harm as she possibly could to break
down the system implemented by those
already in power.

Little did she know that the
distribution of the work and rights of the
empire would spark a thirst within the lower
members of the cult of the Plaguebringer that
were not on the radar of the bordering flights.
Desperate and unable to revert the surge that
she caused Raik resorted to a last panicked
attempt to stop her kingdom to decay.
The power behind all the great rituals lay in
the dungeons of the castle, a stone made of
pure energy. Its disappearance was soon
noticed and the dragons of the arcane flight
waited at the border watching helplessly as
Raik was buried in an army of obsessed
dragons.
Raik only ruled for two years and did not elect
a second flight.


Raik was warmly welcomed to the
Starflight and now sits in the higher council
next to all the greatest leaders before her time
advising the Starwalker and watching over her
legacy, taking part in rebuilding the empire by
leading Affront and Verwichen to their destiny.

____The only short records about Raik's death and most information about her rule stem from the arcane flight. The stone was meant to be stored on the Hoverview Vale in agreement with the arcane flight, however, Raik never made it that far. The crystalized spike marks the exact spot of Raik's demise as the Crystal was reported to have exploded due to physical damage, leaving an arcane energized crystal claw.

____Recent examinations have concluded that the structure now holds no energy anymore. However beneath it, one can see millions of bone fragments underground.
